Heritage Trail

The Ross-on-Wye Heritage Trail – or blue plaque trail – takes in a route of two miles in and around the centre of town, starting from the Market House. It passes sites of historical and architectural interest which are identified and marked with blue plaques erected by the Mayor’s Project. The Heritage Trail leaflet was researched and written by local historian Heather Hurley for the Ross-on-Wye & District Civic Society.

The Heritage Trail leaflet below is available to pick up from one of the Tourist Information Centres in town (The Corn Exchange or Truffles Delicatessen on the High Street or from the Made in Ross gallery, upstairs at the Market House).
